Breaking News

Anna Nicole Smith dead at 39

AP wierd report

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Anna Nicole Smith, the voluptuous former Playboy centerfold who married an octogenarian billionaire and waged a legal battle for his fortune all the way to the Supreme Court, died Tuesday after collapsing at a hotel. She was 39.

The blond bombshell — who recently became tabloid fodder all over again after the sudden, apparently drug-related death of her 20-year-old son — was found was unresponsive while staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, said the attorney, Ron Rale. She was rushed to a hospital.

The cause of death was not immediately disclosed.

The curvaceous Texas-born Smith was a topless dancer at strip club before she made the cover of Playboy magazine in 1992, captivating readers with her Marilyn Monroe looks. She became Playboy's playmate of the year in 1993.

She was also signed to a contract with Guess jeans, appearing in TV commercials, billboards and magazine ads.

NEW MUSIC TUESDAY
WEEK SIX (2007)
FEBUARY 6, 2007

On this Day in 1994 Nirvana start what would be their final tour of Europe is surrport of there last ever studio album "In Utero", but it was mard by the downward spriral of there front man Kurt Cobain who would take his own life three month later.

may be this day is a curse, passing away on this day was Carl Wilson, one of the founding members of the Beach Boys of lung cancer at 51 and also Johann Holzel was killed in a traffic accident in the Dominican Republic at the age 40, you may not know him but he will always be in music fans as Falco who sang his top 10 hit "Rock Me Amadeus".

But, Not as worse as Billy Idol, it was on this day in 1990 that he breaks his arm and leg when his motorcycle crashes after he allegedly ran a stop sign in Hollywood, Ouch!, maybe he was rushing to a white Wedding.

THE LAST OF THE TEENAGE IDOLS

25 years on from his sudden death, Alex Lester celebrates the tragically short life of Glaswegian Alex Harvey, the unforgettable front man with the Sensational Alex Harvey Band.

Wearing his trademark black and white striped t-shirt, Harvey epitomized early rock and roll, his life the typical blend of success and sorrow. One minute Alex was headlining the Reading Festival, the next mourning the loss of his brother who was electrocuted on stage playing with Stone the Crows. Insight and anecdotes are shared by Billy Connolly, Noddy Holder, Lulu, Jim Kerr, Harvey's widow Trudy and band members Zal Cleminson, Ted McKenna and Chris Glen.
