Film Guide Friday (a few days late)
and this weekend winner

Well, i am soory if i did not do film gudie friday on a friday, because of the wheather outside which change with the cold in the Basement(where i do my blogsight) on Friday i did not do a full Film Guide Friday, i have not did any post over teh last few days (last post was on Wednesday).

So it the end of the Weekend so i combine the this week Film Guide as the winner at the Box office is is revealed

"Epic Movie": A spoof of Hollywood spectacles by the production team responsible for "Date Movie." Rated PG-13.


"Smokin' Aces": An action comedy directed by former Detroiter Joe Carnahan with Ryan Reynolds as an FBI agent assigned to protect a comedian who is squealing on the mob. Rated R.


"Venus": Peter O'Toole and Leslie Phillips play a pair of veteran actors whose lives change when they meet a brash teenager. Rated R.


Now after the whole three day weekend is all say and done with a few gig in between, we have a winner and a new No. 1.

the Hollywood spoof a minute picture "Epic Movie" which spoof Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, X-Men: The Last Stand, and Superman Returns, and almost ever over-hyped movie know to man was the top of the box office chart with a total take of $19.2 million.

It edge out the the dark comedy "Smokin' Aces," with a take $14.3 million.

the other new released, Well let say it did OK

Catch and Release finish in the top Five at no.4 but only $8 million

and we have our second Wide released Flop of the year, The werewolf romance Film "Blood & Chocolate" Crash out of the top 10 with poor $2.1 million.

But a lot of Films got a big Bump after getting Oscar nominations on last Tuesday for Dreamgirls," (No.6 ,$6.6 million)"The Pursuit of Happyness," (No.7,$5 million)
"Pan's Labyrinth," (No.8, $4.5 million)and "The Queen,"(No.9,$4 million)

and if you want to know the Number one the last two weeks "Stomp the Yard" drop all the way to no. 5.
