For Fans of the late Vancouver band "CUB" you be happy to know that mint records will re-released 1993's EP+ Betti-Cola and 1994's Come Out Come Out on April 3rd and also Begin re-released by mint is raw garage rock trio Maow 1996 The Unforgiving Sounds of... now i know you are asking why are you asking why put this info, well if you were a fan of Canadian music in the mid 90's "CUB" was a cool band and not only that behind the drum kit was the lovely Neko Case

Also it was announced that "The Happy Monday" are in the studio to make there first album in about 15 years according to very media reports the LP which will have no name yet will included Guest rock guitarist Ry Cooder and Quincy Jones' grandson Sonny Levine.

in June and there playing Coachella

In the Crazy that is Manin Weekend [detroit News Battle of the band/Westestmanin 23 and Detroit Tigers opening Day], On Friday at the Magic Bag in Frendale there will the a beinfit for ? of Question Mark & the Mysterians, if you have not hear the story by now Friday, January 9, 2007 his house burn to the ground in clio, Mi [Which is out side of Flint] the fire destroy everything he own in including 40 years of music memorabilia and four of his beloved dogs [a fifth one die later on] he have no insurance and from what the official Question Mark & the Mysterians still living in a trailer and have no running water.

Since the fire there have been dozen of benefit held around the country but this will be the Detroit benefit, it will held at the magic Stick on Friday, doors will open at 8 P.M. and it cost you 10 buck to get in and there will be set from the like of Nathaniel Mayer, Fortune & Maltese, The Fondas, The Meltdowns, The Avatars, Outrageous Cherry, The Space Heaters and a set from the band itself Question Mark & the Mysterians.

i was going to put this on the gig guide i was making for the the WrestleMania 23 gig guide post but some how some whay i lost the report, rats because i was putting the card and the inducted to the WWE hall of fame on that post.

Sind i am the indie post let me put all the info for WrestleMania 23 and the WWE hall of Fame.

First the Hall of Fame which is total sold out at the fox theater on Saturday night
but you can see the red carpet arrived after the Detroit News Battle of the bands.

the last Inductees was announce to the hall last night and that lucky person was Good Ol' J.R. or better know as wrestling announcer Jim Ross, he join his partner Jerry "The King" Lawler as wil be Michigan owen The Sheik as well as "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, the late "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, Nick Bockwinkel, Mr. Fuji and the The Wild Samoans.

the 1st two hours of the hall will be on WWE.com at 7 P.M. and the last hours will be on USA at midnight.
