The Gig Guide in review

Well after a long weekend which you have to ask which show am i going to on Saturday night [There was about four or five gig going on at the same time] we have to rest on Sunday for the five day work week and looking at the week to see if there any good show to go there is breakout date this week, if you thought Saturday Night was tough to pick a show, try finding a show on Tuesday Night

Highlighting the Night on Tuesday Night will be the Detroit debut of the Sheffield, England Five piece "The Long Blondes" who just released there debut album "Someone to Drive You Home" Newcomers "Nicole Atkins and the Sea" and local fave "the Nice Device" which feather the prettiest and well dress rocker in all Detroit Alicia Grub will open up and it is a early show with doors open at 8 P.M.

I talk more about "the Lone Blondes" tomorrow as part of you fave new band

other shows on Tuesday will be a band that was recommend by the co-host of Detroit Local 101[Riff 2 - Tuesday 10PM WRIF-HD2] Melody Licious is the Austin,Texas Psychedelic Hard Rock LIONS!!!, and what i been told they have a very chaotic, high-energy live act not to be miss, opening up for them is the local up and Comers "Siddartha".

also if you still have a lifetime membership card to Juggalos nation, it time to dust that off because Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope will bring the Insane Clown Posse for a gig this Tuesday at the St. Andrew Hall in support for the new album just released in March call "The Tempest"

One Word of Advice. pleased bring you clean Closet Because there will be penalty of faygo to be spray

Also on Tuesday at the State Theater in Downtown Detroit experimental Metal band the Deftones it will also be the last concert under the name the State Theater, because last March Concert Promoter Live Nation decied to franchise the State Theater with the name of the Legionnaire Name of a Famous concert Hall in San Fransisco "The Fillmore" so this Wednesday the place we called the State Theater will now be called "The Fillmore Detroit" and there first gig at the Fillmore Detroit: "Fergie"
