And We Have a winner in the album of the year that spung up the Shortlist music Awards in the US, and the Polaris Music Prize which will be handed out in a few weeks for best Canadian Album of the year, it the Nationwide Mercury Prize for the best British or Irish album of the last 12 months

the odds makers were flip flopping on who will win, 1st they made Arctic Monkeys and Amy Winehouse co-faveorie and then it was support to be Amy Winehouse but he recent Drug problems scared the oddsmakers off and all of a suddend Bat For Lashes were made the Favorite, but after it was all said and done, We have a winner and the winner of the Nationwide Mercury Prize is:
