Late Post

it almost 10 PM almost 12 hours after the passing of the legon the one and only Bo Schembechler who die today as he was ready to tape the Big Ten Ticket at the studio of WXYZ-TV in Southfiled, and thinking he die just before the big game tommorrow one of the biggest game of the season with a huge impact on the season on who was going to the B.C.S. title game the hyped was inceriable and hoping that the blue helment would knock off the team in Columbus and now the hype have a little tone down Drama as as the man that made the Michigan/Ohio State Rivaly was is was today, the Ohio Born Schembechler who was Woody Hayes most trush Asstiant at Ohio State before he took on the head Coach at Maimi of Ohio and then he took the job at the state up I-75 in 1969 and stay there for 21 years with his amzing record of 143-24-3 (234-65-8 total) became a icon of michigan Football.

And now the Jolly guy have move on to a big Coach room in the sky reunited with woody once aging on the eve of one of the biggest games ever with both men hopeing to win the this centery Game of the Centery in hoping to go to BCS title game where who know they made play for the title game aging (If the team do well on saturday and it close).

But Bo in life would have loved this season and this big game he love foot ball to much and he was love for it and made every saturday speacil even when we beat Michigan State and Noter Dame or Ohio State and evey Michigan Fans that tell the world hey i am going to Rose Bowl and beat who ever come from the PAC 10.

But Bo will be remeberm as a very kind man a man who always keep in touch of his player long after there playing days are over in michigan, was a lager than life father figer to the game of collage Football and a very good teacher of the game and the school he loved for all his aulte life.

Now i hoped Michigan will win the game tommorrow to go to the big game January and to put it midly that 52 michigan Mens win the big game tommorrow.

As you imaging this is a hugh story all over the dial on all three detroit TV station (Fox 2, Local 4 and Ch.7 where he pass away today) and not only all the newspaper and tv station web sight (the Links with video are at the bottom)

It have a major impact in detroit sports and in collage football, but beleved or not it have a little impact on the indie music scene, yes you can not make this up.

The Dead Schembechlers a local punk band from Columbus,Ohio before friday got a lot of press attention because of there hate for Michigan and remember they all dress up like Woody Hayes, well after hearing the news of Bo death that band on there web sight (Which have been taking down late this afternoon) and there my space page issued the following statement:

BO SCHEMBECHLER: OSU'S MOST VALIANT FOE

The band is crushed to learn of the death of Bo Schembechler. We named this band after Coach Schembechler to honor him as the face of Wolverine football. We have never wished ill will upon him in any way and have always wished him the best. When we learned that Bo had seen our web site and was amused by it we were delighted. We were simply delighted. He said to those with him as he read it, "See, I still matter in Columbus!" That may have been the greatest understatement in football history. We believe that he took the band's name as the compliment that it was meant as and that he was flattered by it. We wish to extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to his family. We are truly sorry for their loss

well a few hours after that statment the band annouced on there myspace sight that tonight show as part of hate michigan week was there last show ever under the name The Dead Schembechler they have say they will continued on under a new name and all procedd for tonight gig will go be donated to a charity of the Schembechler family's choosing
