well it the begining of the year and that mean that in about two months the Local back to back Girnd will take place where Local Bands will played the hamtramck blow out and they will have to turn around a Fly to austin, TX for the SXSW Festival where almost a 1, 000 bands willl played there as well so we dont know which michigan bands will played there but accroing to the offical brochure by the SXSW people thefirst few bands have been mention, Schuechel to play SXSW will be The Stooges, Interpol, Lily Allen, Bloc Party, Devin the Dude, Hoodoo Gurus, Matt & Kim, Ghostland Observatory, the Watson Twins, Stax 50th Anniversary Soul Review, Ozomatli, Turbonegro and Cold War Kids.

Giving out the all Important Keynotes Speech is the Who Pete Townson, also taking in part in the interview and speakers are Gilberto Gil, Emmylou Harris, Terry McBride, Ricki Lee Jones, Booker T, Joe Boyd and former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne.
