it came from the late night music club from culture city with a double Soul Bill

This weekend on TV station all over the country and on BET, air the UNCF An Evening of Stars® which stared way back in 1980 by soul singer Lou Rawls, the then telethon which benefits the United Negro College Fund have raise over $200 million since the event start in the 80's to college tuition money for black students and general scholarship funds for 39 historically black colleges and universities.

this year special was a lot difference because it was the First year with out Lou Rawls who die last year after having been diagnosed with cancer in September of 2oo5 after what turn out to be his Last TV performance at a UNCF TV special, When they honor Stevie Wonder, he did two song You Are the Sunshine of My Life," ode to Frank Sinatra with, "It Was A Very Good Year."

Tonight in the video club a video by Low Rawls, and This year UNCF honoree is Detroit own Aretha Franklin
