Now i know that this blog sight is a indie culture and indie music blog sight with half focus each on what is going on inside the 313[local music and culture] and outside the 313 [on a lot of indie bands and stuff on-line and On-aired].
So this is not a hard News sight, But today is a very sad day as the nation is in moring today as the news follow the worst massacer in US history.
it should be mention on the sight.
at least 33 people were shot dead at the main Campus of Virgina Tech University in Blackburg, VA [36 miles west of Roanoke, VA] that included the shooter who then turn the gun on him self, this is what we know for the moment on the time line.

7:15 a.m.: A 9-1-1 emergency call to Virginia Tech Police reports a shooting at West Ambler Johnston Hall, leaving one person dead and another wounded.
9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Shooter opens fire in classroom in Norris Hall, an engineering building.
9:26 a.m.: Emails go out to campus staff and faculty saying there has been a shooting on campus.
9:50 a.m.: An email announcing: "A gunman is loose on campus. Stay in buildings until further notice. Stay away from all windows" is sent to all Virginia Tech email addresses.
10:52 a.m.: Follow up email goes to Virginia Tech campus regarding shooting
12:00 p.m.: At a press conference, authorities said there may have been more than 21 people killed and 28 injured.
2:30 p.m.: AP reports at least 31 killed, including gunman.
3:40 p.m.: Virginia Tech confirms 22 dead.
4:01 p.m.: President Bush speaks from the White House regarding the shooting.
4:42 p.m.: Virginia Tech confirms 33 dead including the shooter.

about 15 were wounded
this is the worst civilian shooting in United States, wrost than Luby's Cafeteria massacre in Texas[1991, 23 killed], worst then Columbine [1999, 16 killed], worst then clock tower shooting at the University of Texas at Austin[1966, 16 killed]but it is the second worst school-related killing since 45 people were killed when a bomb destroy a school house in Bath, Michigan[which is 10 Miles outside Lansing.
the big question begin ask tonight why did the collage did not lock down the campus after the first shooting, which issued two hours after the second shooting happened.
there is plenty on this on TV and on the web.
But to all of culture city in Detroit our thought and prayer are to the Families of those who lost there lives today.
