Well it was a very quite weekend at best nothing going on this weekend in my part of the area so i did not doing like going out to any show so i say home for most of the weekend try to Start writing the X-mas this weekend with no Collage Foot Ball for the 1st time in three and a 1/2 Months, But as always i did not get it stared, but it was good to take a break every once in a while which is good.
i was typing the Set-up for my special New Year break which is called the Festive 50 Which will show up between December 26th - 30th 2006(In a few weeks) and at the First of the day or second day of 2007 it the best 25 Local bands who released stuff in 2007.
I was debating should i reat the Local 25 or not because i know so many good bands in the area, so Melody L of the Detroit News and the Riff 2 show Detroit Local 101 told me it OK to rate the 25 best bands who released stuff this year so i will do that, Now i check the released from Checking the Motor City Rocks web sight of a years wroth of local CD Released shows to bands who released CD With out a show and i was thinking i may have miss some CD so i there is a CD I missed pleased let me know at culturecitynewstips@yahoo.com.
I only ask for CD and EP(4-5 song) that was released in 2006(that Jan 1,06 to Dec 31, 06) and it must have a good indie sound and if you a wondering the Idea of the Festive 50 and Local 25 is base off the Organ of the Festive 50 the one that started with by the Late Great BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel.
