believe it or not, According to Filter on-line "The White Stripes" have announced that they will go on tour in North America this summer and Fall in support of there six full-length album, "Icky Thump" that will be released somewhere in June on Warner Bros. Records [there First on the label] it will start in on July 29th at the Street Scene music Festival in San Diego,CA.

The Tour continue in August and September with Muplicial dates in Vancouver, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Chicago, and Boston.

and after Jack Other band "The Racountours" skip the Detroit area completely last summer, most people think he going to skip Detroit this time around, well after almost all the disconnect from the whole scene together.

Believe it or Not

there going to play Detroit and inside the city of Detroit at the one place they can play.

Masonic Temple Theatre

in between Midtown and Downtown

they have one show with a opener
that will be September 24th at Keyspan Park in Coney Island
where Brendan Benson and the Shins will opend.
