We have some sad new to report in the old school music department
the Former husband of Tina Turner, Ike Turner have pass away
according to a early AP report he die in his sleep this morning in his home in San Diego
and there was no word on his sudden death
His was one half of the 1960 husband and wife soul duo "Ike & Tina Turner" who had hit with "Proud Mary", "It's Gonna Work Out Fine", "Nutbush City Limits" and "I Want To Take You Higher".
There was married fo 16 years until they divorced in 1978, after the divorced ike have been in and out of trouble inculing serving 17 months in 1989.
he did turn his life around and was back in the spotlight early this year after he won a Grammy for best traditional blues album for "Risin' With the Blues."
he is survived by four grown children's.
