The Film Gudie Top 10

Well we knew when that coming in this weekend since Spiderman 3 was book for a May 4th released it would be the Number one film this week

But the big question everybody was asking how much it would take in the box office and would it break a record held since last summer when "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" made a Unheard of $135.6 million.

Well the returns from overseas was the first good sings when it made about $28 millions over sea Box Office, but it got even better news when on Saturday news came over the Wire that it made on that Friday

$59.3 million

so after the end of the three days of this weekend

$148,000,000

The Most for any other movie in US domestic box office history

it did even three times better the "Mission: Impossible III"[take that tom Cruise]
Amy Pascal, Sony Pictures co-chairman said in a released "Sam Raimi is a genius," "I could have never envisioned this. What I was hoping was we would just break the `Spider-Man 1' record. This is beyond my wildest dream."

and the total Worldwide for this film in it opening week $375 million.
$117 million more than its whopping budget for this film and by next week it will enter next weekend crossing over $200 Million Dollars.

Wow

Oh By the way if you are wondering there was one other film that opened this week the romantic poker drama "Lucky You" with Drew Barrymore, Eric Bana and Robert Duvall
finish 6th but with a bomb out with a poorly $2.5 million.

"Disturbia" [Which was No.1 for three week running] finish a way, way, way, way, distant No 2. with $5.7 million

The Rest of the top 10[or could i say what left of the top ten] goes Like this:

1. "Spider-Man 3," $148 million.
2. "Disturbia," $5.7 million.
3. "Fracture," $3.4 million.
4. "The Invisible," $3.1 million.
5. "Next," $2.8 million.
6. "Lucky You," $2.5 million.
7. "Meet the Robinsons," $2.46 million.
8. "Blades of Glory," $2.3 million.
9. "Hot Fuzz," $2.1 million.
10. "Are We Done Yet?", $1.7 million

It's 9 O'Clock

and tonight 9 PM post being with a quote form the one and only Morrissey

"I was horrified but not surprised to see the U.K. fail again,"
"There's a question I keep asking myself -- why didn't they ask me? It keeps going round in my head."

Morrissey
as he told fans at a concert in London last year

that what the legion front man of "The Smiths told the Crowd at a gig last year after the UK entry finids 19th out of 24 acts [if you want to called them acts]in last year eurovision song contest, this continued the UK bad luck in trying to win back the Eruovision Crown they have not won since 1997 since "Katrina and the Waves"[yes that band who sung the classic one hit wonder "Walking on Sunshine"] with "Love Shine A Light.

so What song got under Morrissey skin
it was this song by UK rapper Daz Sampson

OK, i will admit since we like to pick on this contest because of it bad songs and all, i kind of like this song, but beautifully back-up singers and a chact song did not save the song from it UK cursed, which bring the Mod father slam of last year.

so i was a surprise we hear report the hosted broadcasters the BBC was in talks with the mod father to pen a winning Eruovision song, even he made a video of what would he look like on eruovision with the song "You Have Killed Me" from his last album "Ringleader of the Tormentors"

But after weeks of talks with the BBC Morrissey decide not to entry the contest
letting the indie world down big time, Wield on the other hand a lot of people were glad he did not enter with the leading point is it not the perfit fit for him.

so they the UK was the last entry to enter a song in eruovision and you asking this question who will represent the UK in eruovision Next week

This act
called Smooch
[Ed Note: there Not to be confuse with the Seattle base teen-age band Smoosh]

Oh My! this song is well, kind of dopey big time
cant wait for the Morrissey quote the Wednesday after

so normally i would present a indie Sub for Eruovision only one problem there about over a 1000 indie bands in the U.K. so will take a little time to choose the prefect UK indie band to repeset the UK other then Smooch.

So whiled we think about it let end this post the way we began it with Morrissey and a song that would do well on the show from his first album "You Are the Quarry" called "Irish Blood English Heart"
