Local Music News Note

A premiere Date have been set for the story of the Detroit Garage Rock Scene

During the Very Long Break, It was announced that the date have been set for the made in Detroit rock n roll movie It Came From Detroit, The Film which was Directed by James R. Petix and Produced by Sarah Babila took over Six years to make look at the Detroit rock n roll sence for the height of the sence to 2004.

I have a lot of Detroit base bands which include Batman Rooster,Blanche, Brendan Benson, The Come Ons, The Cyril Lords, Domolition Doll Rods, Detroit City Council, The Detyroit Cobras, The Dirtbombs, Electiric Six, Fortune and Maltese, The Go,Gore Gore Girls, The Gories, The Hentchmen, Ko and the Knockouts,Outrageous Cherry, The Paybacks, The Sights, The Soledad Brothers,The Von Bondies, The Waxwings, The White Stripes, and The Witches

It also have interview with Jason Stollsteimer of the Von Bondies,Marty Morris of the
The Cyril Lords and SSM, Mick Collins and Ben Blackwell of the Dirtbombs, Troy Geogey, Mary from the Detroit Corbas, Amy of the Gore Gore Girls, Matt Smith of Outrageous Cherry, Eddie Baranek from The Sights, Wendy Case of the Paybacks, Dan and Tracee Mae Miller of Blanche, Former Metro times Music Writer Cirst Handyside, Magic Stick Booker Greg Base, and a certain someone (i hoped) Name Steve Paljusevic, I hear he been to more shows then anyone.

It will get it Detroit Premiere on Friday October 27th at where else the Detroit Film Theater at the Detroit Institute of Arts in Midtown Detroit just five Blocks North of the Stick, Three of thouse bands who are in the film will played the Premiere, The Dirtbombs will start out the evening playing in the Rivera Court at the DIA, then after the show the Witches and Outrageous Cherry will be rocking it on stage in the theater.
