New Music Tuesday

Today is Tuesday, and if is Tuesday it must mean New Music Tuesday just like if it sunday it "Meet the Press" on NBC which made it debut on this day in 1947 and belvied of not it is still on the air to this day as one of the longest running TV on TV right now.

It was on this day in 1966 that legdon concert promoter Bill Graham[not to be confuse with TV preacher Billy Graham]opened up his first Fillmore Auditorium at the hights of the psychedelic counterculture era.

Now almost 40 years later, the Name "The Fillmore" have sadly been hijack and Mcfranside to included Philadelphia, New York, Denver, Miami Beach, and our own State theater in Detroit, but it still the same as what us old timer called it "The State Theater".

And haveing a birthday today Living Colour Corey Glover is 42, Actor Ethan Hawke is 37, Actress Rebecca Romijn is 35, Calitflornia 1st lady Maria Shriver is 62, Crow T. Robot and Dr. Clayton Forrester is 59, OK the preson who did Crow T. Robot and Dr. Clayton Forrester on Mystery Science Theater 3000 puppeteer and actor Trace Beaulieu is 59 and Front man for the Eagles Glenn Frey was born on this day he 59 but many of you do not know that he was born here and was part of the 60 rock scene here sang back up in Bob Seger's Ramblin' Gamblin' Man in 1968 and left here to when on to the road to "Hotel California"
