This Week Other Big Show other then "The Raconteurs" playing a total sold out Show in Ann Arbor.

Is a really, Really Bis show at the State Theater in Downtown Detroit a really really Big show, It going to big really popuaur Bands playing in the big show.

Headlinh the Show is the band The Flaming Lips,the avant-rock Band from Oklahoma City,Oklahoma with a real awsome stage show who is on tour in Suport of there latest CD "At War with the Mystics".

The Other co-headliners is a band who been around two years longer then the lips Sonic Youth Who is promoting there 21th Album "Rather Ripped"

And opening up the Night is a band who was going to do a show at the Stick but when the Orginal Opener Wolfmother Drop Out of the bill, the show at the stick was cancelled and they join the bill,

the band is whose songs are a mixture of action theme songs, cheerleader chants, guitars and early hip-hop, with a hint of '70s funk. They place more emphasis on live instrumentation than some of their contemporaries, although they do base many of their songs around samples from various sources.

Their album Thunder, Lightning, Strike was released on the Memphis Industries label in September 2004, and has received widespread critical acclaim. In 2005 it was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize

The band's next recording, to be released in September 2006, will be a three track EP called "Doing It Right". A second album will follow. Amongst their recent recordings include a cover of Sonic Youth's "Bull In The Heather".
