New Music Tuesday

It was on this Day in 1981 that the most import new released of all new released was made as of Warner-Amex Satellite Entertainment Company, a joint venture of Warner Communications and American Express(yes the Creidt card company)launch a brand new Cable channel that play nothing but music video in high stereo sound it was called MTV, and it was a good idea at the time and now everbody who follow music are switching to you tube, because they dont want to follow what are going on Real World: Key West that what there showing in prime time tonight insted of marking the milestone which they did on this day 2001 when MTV turn 20 which is one hell of a part gig and part reunion, and part pop-culture spectacle.

Which can tell the spectacle in 1994 when Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley made there infamous on air kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards a month after they announced on this day they got married three month ago in in a private ceremony in the Dominican Republic.

But hey this week in pop culture history is not full with MTV history on this day in 1971 "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" is launched on CBS-TV with a short summer run followed by three seasons of "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour".

but on this day Jerome John Garcia was born on this day in 1942, but he would be later know to the world as Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead who died on on August 9, 1995 as it was cover by Futher MSNBC News host Alison Stewart who was working at the time at MTV NEWS.
